Description
Taken from the corner of Battersea High Street and Battersea Church Road, this shows the premises of Abbey Warehouses at 15 Battersea High Street, abutting London House (developed by linen draper James Bennett, c1780) and mid-twentieth century single storey extension. Three industrial chimneys are visible in the direction of the River Thames. 15 Battersea High Street is been redeveloped an extended to a third storey, and the extension has been replaced with a block of flats with commercial premises on the ground floor (late twentieth century). Includes traffic lights.
