Description
General view of buildings at the junction of Albion Street and Lower Road, Bermondsey. Businesses include William H. Heiber at 25-29 Lower Road on the corner, Albion cold store and warehouse, and Mac's Snacks. A ladies' public toilet is on the left. In the distance is a Methodist Church, and blocks of flats on Neptune Street. All buildings were later demolished and replaced with housing, and Lower Road re-routed to create a roundabout for access to the Bermondsey Tunnel.
