General view of The Terrace, Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, looking north-east. To the far left is part of York Hall, one of the most iconic venues in British boxing which was partially built on the plot of number 15. To its right are the original numbers 15-19 Old Ford Road now renumbered since number 15 as seen was demolished. Here we see Monk & Brown occupy numbers 17-19 trading as a Glass Merchants Bevellers and Silverers as sign written on the front elevation. The house numbering was altered with the demolition of number 15 as still seen here on the far left hand side. Since the demolition of the original house at number 15 this numbering has been transferred to what was number 17. Nowadays number 15 is Grade II listed, listing number 1241403. Numbers 17-19 are also Grade II listed, listing number 1065101. Two groundsmen tend the gardens of Bethnal Green Museum and behind them are the side and front elevations of 1-5 Old Ford Road. Apart from the original number 15 Old Ford Road all these buildings still exist.
