Left front room at Temple House, 7 Church Gate, Fulham, featuring an elaborate tiled chimneypiece with a coat of arms above it, and an open curtained doorway to the next room, also with a decorative chimneypiece. The room is sumptiuously furnished with antique leather armchairs and a carved wood setee, and a small round table draped with a fringed table cloth and a vase full of roses. A painted portrait of a lady, in a carved wooden frame, hangs next to the chimneypiece. The floors are covered almost wall-to-wall with elegant carpets. Temple House and its grounds no longer exist; Steeple Close, a 1960s residential development designed by J.J. de Segrais is now on the site.
