Description
Buildings at 45-49 Gray's Inn Road, Clerkenwell, Holborn. Four storeys, plain brick with shop fronts on the ground floor. Number 45 next to a damaged building, possibly from bombing, has broken windows and the shop is boarded up. Number 47 has a large window divided into smaller panes. Number 49 has a sign with Foulger and Mansfield on it and a man is standing outside on the pavement. An Austin 8 is parked on the road. At numbers 34-49 there is a Coop supermarket in 2019 and front elevation much improved with added dormers. Its neighbouring houses at 49-51 have had the front elevation re-built in a uniform design, dormers added and as of 2019 they contain a specialist cycle shop, Condor Cycles.
