A view of the eighteenth-century Georgian five-storey brick houses at 13-15 Queen Square, Holborn. The buildings contain sash windows (some of which are open), windows opening inwards and outwards (as seen on the first and third floors of number 15), and dormer windows on the top floors. Stone dressing can be seen around the ground-floor windows. Other features include iron railings bordering the fronts of the houses, drain pipes, a chimney stack, and panelled front doors. The door at number 15 on the right of the image is set within an arched doorway and is entered via stone steps. A street lamp post can also be seen in the street. A woman can be seen leaning out of one of the dormer windows on the top floor of number 13. The buildings, which have been restored with slight alterations, have survived.
