View of industrial units under the arches leading south from Coldharbour Lane, opposite Loughborough Junction Station. A large wooden building with a sign: FOR SALE BALLAST, ALSO GOOD HARD CORE APPLY WITHIN. Outside a pile of rubble. Further along the passageway, three men are working on dressed stone blocks. To the right, the railway viaduct leading south from Loughborough Junction Station towards Herne Hill Station, operated by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway. Under the viaduct a large poster for the Lyceum Theatre advertising the production: The Prince and the Beggar Maid. It opened in June 1908 and ran for 82 performances starring Miss Nora Kerin. The entrance to this passageway has since been bricked over.
