View of a fishmongers in The Cut, Waterloo. View of a bakers in The Cut, Waterloo. Built on Lambeth Marsh as the New Cut, the street suffered severe damage during the bombing raids of the Blitz leaving few buildings standing on the north side. The fishmonger in his shop selling, kippers, smoked haddock, scallops and prawns. A box from William Still Ltd, Mac Brand, Aberdeen. The north side of the street in the background is completely demolished.
