View of a row of four three-storey terraced houses at 81-87 Hackford Road, Stockwell. Number 87 has a blue plaque reading VINCENT VAN GOGH 1853-1890 PAINTER LIVED HERE 1873-1874. The house is Grade II listed, listing number 1080441. While living at the property as a young man Van Gogh worked in Covent Garden as a dealer in art photography and prints. Two cars are parked in the road including a Morris Traveller. Hackford Road was formerly known as St Anne's Road; its name was changed in the 1860s.
