Hackford Road School, Isabel Street, Stockwell, viewed from Liberty Street.

On the right is a three-storey school building with ornate framing of the dormer windows, and single-storey building in the foreground. Modern school buildings of the Van Gogh Primary School now stand on this site, known formerly as Durand Primary School and Academy.

Isabel Street is now Van Gogh Walk, so named because the painter lived for a time at 87 Hackford Road. The rear elevations of three-storey buildings next to the school belong to numbers 90-94 Hackford Road, and the two-storey semi-detached buildings with basements in the background are numbers 67-69 Hackford Road; all these buildings survive.

A woman wearing black is walking on the left of Isabel Street past the corner with Morat Street.
