Description
View of the front elevation of the Grade II listed Ladywell Centre public baths, Ladywell Road, Lewisham. Built in 1884 to the designs of Wilson and Son and Thomas Aldwinkle by builders Hobbs of Croydon on a site adjacent to St Mary's Church leading to a newspaper comment about 'Cleanliness next to Godliness'. The baths later closed and the building has been left empty for decades.
