Description
View looking north along Cold Harbour on the Isle of Dogs in London Docklands. In the foreground are the steps leading up to the entrance of Blackwall River Police Station at number 19, Cold Harbour. A traditional police station ‘blue lamp’ is visible in the top right. A delivery lorry bars the way at the junction with Managers Street on the left (not visible). Beyond, on the right, is the side elevation of 15, Cold Harbour. The police station has been converted into flats and new housing has replaced both the site opposite and the wharf next door. Blackwall River Police Station (listing number 1065224) and number 15 Cold Harbour (listing number 1390543) are both Grade II listed.
