Description
Vacant site between Janet Street and Malabar Street, Poplar. This view is taken from Janet Street looking north-east towards Malabar Street and Alpha Grove, across what was Maria Street. A motorcycle and side car are parked on Janet Street. Flats and a chimney can be seen to the right on Alpha Grove. A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel can be seen on Malabar Street and the tower of St Luke's Church can be seen in the background. Maria Street no longer exists and housing and Seven Mills Primary School now occupy the site.
