'The idle 'prentice betrayed by a prostitute', plate VIIII of "Industry and Idleness"; the apprentice and companion examine stolen property in a cellar; another man pushes a victim's body through a trapdoor, whilst at the foot of the stairs the prostitute points to the apprentice whilst receiving a coin from a magistrate who enters with the watch. In the background men fight.
