Satirical night-time view of Cheapside. The figures of Gog and Magog, from the clock outside John Bennett's watchmaker's shop, have come alive and are seen in the street along with other figures from the alcove. The figures are seen in the light from the window of E.E Leggatt's Fine Art Galleries.
