Miss Provis stands on a rainbow daubing paint on the face of Titian. Reynolds' ghost appears from the paved floor in the foreground. On the right John Boydell and two companions run off furtively. The seven artists sitting in the light of the rainbow include Joseph Farington, John Opie, and Richard Westall.
