Title
Windmill, Brixton Hill
Description
View near Brixton Hill on a windy day, with a windmill and cottages. The mill stood near the top of Brixton Hill on the north side of Mill Lane (now Morrish Road), apparently from the 18th century until the 1840s. Unlike Ashby's Mill, erected in 1816 about a mile to the north, it seems never to have acquired an identifying name.
