"The Hobby Horse of a Lxxx Mxxxr!". The Lord Mayor, Sir William Pickett, sits astride Temple Bar pulling on ropes attached to St Clement Danes and other buildings in the centre of the road, while a crowd of aldermen look on. The satire makes reference to Pickett's plans for improvements in the Strand.
