Description
Looking east along Falcon Street, City of London, from the junction with Aldersgate in 1955. The turning to the left, just past the car, is Falcon Avenue, a short rectangular loop which re-joined Falcon Street further down the road. The café to the right lies to the rear of 16 Aldersgate. The white elevation with staggered windows is a face of the Wood Street Telephone Exchange, which was also bounded to the north by Silver Street. Falcon Street, Falcon Avenue and Silver Street no longer exist.
