View from the Golden Gallery, St. Paul's Cathedral. View looking north-west from St. Paul's Cathedral showing extensive bomb damage in summer 1942 following the demolition of unsafe buildings. The circular water dams are at the junction of Paternoster Row and Ivy Lane, just above is Paternoster Square from which White Hart Street leads left into Warwick Lane & Warwick Square. Above Warwick Square is the Central Criminal Court. On the right of the picture is Newgate Street and Christ Church.
