A view looking west along Fleet Street, City of London, towards the Royal Courts of Justice. The photograph is taken outside Middle Temple Gatehouse. In the middle of the photograph is the Temple Bar Memorial, which was designed by Horace Jones and opened in 1880 on the site of the seventeenth-century Temple Bar gateway.
