Description
View of wall of Bricklayers Arms former railway goods yard on the south side of Lynton Road, Bermondsey. This large site opened as an alternative terminus to London Bridge in 1844 but was soon converted to a goods station and engineering facility. It closed in 1981 and was steadily replaced by new housing estates.
