Description
The underwriting room at Lloyd's of London at 12 Leadenhall Street, City of London. Corinthian columns support the interior with a domed skylight and lantern hanging from the centre. Office furniture and dividing panels can be seen with a waste bin and vending machine in the centre. This 1928 building, designed by Edwin Cooper, was built on the site of the old East India House. Only the facade now remains of Cooper's building.
