Description
Vacant site at The Cut, Waterloo (formerly The New Cut) by Waterloo Road. A site littered with rubble and rubbish, there are three small boys sitting on the ground. This area suffered heavy bombing during World War II with many buildings damaged beyond repair and demolished. This is now the site of Emma Cons Gardens. Named after Emma Cons a British social reformer, strongly committed to women's suffrage.
