"The Eve of St Agnes"; or "The Flight of Madeline and Porphyro during the Drunkeness attending the Revelry"; the subject is taken from Keats' poem of the same title. According to the legend of the Eve of St Agnes (21st January) young women are able to foresee a glimpse of their future husbands.
