Title
Mowbray and Stanhope Buildings in Redcross Way
Description
View of Mowbray and Stanhope Buildings looking north-east along Redcross Way, Borough, from the junction with Little Dorrit Court. The derelict five-storey buildings have many boarded and broken windows. Pedestrians can be seen on the street and in the far distance the rail bridge over Redcross Way and Southwark Street is just visible. A sign has been placed on the pavement reading "437 M-B S-B", indicating the buildings were earmarked for demolition. Mowbray and Stanhope Buildings no longer exist and the site is now occupied by The Cathedral School of St Saviour.
