Description
East side view of Amwell Street looking north by River Street showing the Lloyd and Son Dairy 42 Amwell Street with its Edwardian shop fronts on the corner with River Street next to a zebra crossing. The dairy opened in 1905 ran as a family business for three generations. The dairy has ceased trading but the shop front has been retained can still be seen. Across the road is a Crisps bakeries 44 Amwell Street displaying the advertising sign Hovis Golden Brown on the exterior.
