Description
Fireplace of first-floor north room at 21 Spital Square, Spitalfields. A marble fire surround and mantlepiece frame a decorative cast-iron fire insert full of coal. The ornate fire grate has claws at the base. Coal and paper lie on the structural hearth with a marble decorative hearth in front.
