Description
External railing detail at 16 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea. The RC monogram is of Richard Chapman, described in the original lease as 'of St. Clement Danes, apothecary,' for whom the house was built in 1717. Richard Chapman lived here from 1719 until 1724. Queen's House, formerly known as Tudor House, is the second largest house in Cheyne Walk. It was the home of Dante Gabrielle Rossetti in 1862-82.
