Description
Heygate Estate, Walworth, looking north from a pedestrian walkway across Rodney Road. Heygate Street is on the left and nine-storey Marston House is visible on Rodney Place to the right, with other estate blocks beyond. The low rise block on the left includes several shops, with passersby. Two vans and a man with a market barrow can be seen on Elba Place. Heygate Estate was built 1971-74, demolished 2011-14 and redeveloped 2010-25 as Elephant Park, a housing and retail space.
