Description
View of timber fragments on ground at Frognal House, Frognal Avenue, Sidcup. It is a Grade II* listed country mansion with mainly Jacobean elevations, but dating back to before 1550, with some surviving timber-framed sections; list entry number 1064228. Originally residential, in 1917 it became the original premises of Queen's Hospital (later Queen Mary's Hospital) and remained so until 1974, when new hospital was built. It has been restored and run as a residential and nursing home by Sunrise Senior Living since 1999.
