"Ariadne in Naxos"; showing Ariadne having awoken to find she has been abandoned on the island of Naxos by Theseus, who she helped to slay the Minator on Crete. Her attendant points to the approach of the God Dionysus and the leopards which drew his carriage are depicted in the foreground.
