Description
Front elevations of terraced houses and shopfronts at 73-77 Beak Street, Soho, looking north. The shop at the base of the ornate building at number 75 houses the Continental Café. The four-storey, brown brick building at number 73 was built c1719 and is Grade II listed, entry 1357197. At the time of the photograph the ground-floor shop is occupied by a newsagent, tobacconist and confectioners with a window full of merchandise and advertisements. Number 77, used as an electrical shop, was built during the early eighteenth-century and is Grade II listed, entry 1292113.
